Kids and Family

A welcoming place for kids to learn and grow

NURSEY
Nursery care is available for little ones under two. Our volunteers offer a warm and comforting space where babies can play and rest while parents enjoy the worship service upstairs.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday School is offered for children age three through grade eight. Kids learn through hands-on activities and age-based groups, supported by dedicated leaders who help them explore the Bible in meaningful ways.
SAFTEY INFO
We want every child to feel safe and cared for. Our classrooms are supervised, our spaces are kid friendly, and our volunteers follow clear safety practices so parents can feel confident on Sunday mornings.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some answers to common questions.

We welcome first-time visitors with open arms. Expect a warm, friendly environment. Sunday services start at 10 a.m. Dress is casual or whatever you feel comfortable in. There are friendly people, coffee afterward, and a place for your kids if needed.

Worship starts at 10 a.m. on Sundays at Drayton Reformed Church.

We meet in our sanctuary, and after the service you’re welcome to join us for coffee and conversation.

Our worship blends traditional and contemporary music. We include singing, Scripture reading, and a sermon that applies Biblical teaching to everyday life.

Dress is casual and comfortable. You’ll see everything from jeans and sweaters to Sunday best. Wear whatever makes you feel at ease.

We offer on-site parking near the main entrance, with accessible spaces available. Families who would like easier access to the nursery are welcome to park around the back, where a greeter will meet you and help you get settled.

No. Everyone is welcome to attend and get involved. If you are interested in membership at some point, we would be happy to talk with you about the process, our beliefs, our history, and what it means to be part of our church family.

Yes. We offer:

  • Nursery downstairs for children under two.
  • Little Lambs class for two-year-olds.
  • Sunday School for kids ages 3 through grade 8.

Parents who prefer to stay with younger children can use the quiet room while still listening and watching the worship service.

Yes. We have nursery care downstairs for infants and toddlers under two. Children are also always welcome to stay with their parents during the service. For parents who wish to stay with their little ones but would prefer a quieter space, we provide a quiet room upstairs where you can still hear and see the service.

For children JK to Grade 6, Sunday School uses a “Station Rotation” curriculum — kids rotate weekly through interactive stations (art, science, cooking, mystery) and also gather for group worship and Bible learning time. Grade 7–8 students may join part of the service or meet in a class afterward for sermon discussion.

We care deeply about safety and spiritual growth. Our children and youth ministries follow clear safety practices, and all volunteer leaders complete a screening process. Classes use age-appropriate learning and Bible teaching, and parents receive clear check-in and pick-up procedures.

We offer a variety of ministries and opportunities beyond Sunday worship, including Junior Youth, Senior Youth, youth social events, Young Adults, Children’s Worship, Alpha, Coffee Break, seasonal ministries like Vacation Bible School, holiday events, and summer camps.

If you’d like to get involved, just connect with any of our staff or volunteers. We have multiple ministries (youth, young adults, small groups, seasonal events, camps) and we’d be happy to show you where you might fit best.

We use Tithe.ly for giving. You can click the “GIVE” button on our site to make a one-time offering or set up regular giving. Giving through Tithely is safe and secure.

We are part of the Reformed Church in America (RCA). For a full description of our faith and beliefs, you can visit our About Us page or explore more at rca.org.
